Namdaemun Market – Seoul – afternoon

One of Seoul’s oldest and most vibrant markets, Namdaemun is a feast for the senses and for the eyes. Walking through its surrounding streets, I was immediately drawn to the layered chaos of Korean signage covering every surface of the buildings, a graphic designer’s dream. There is an incredible energy to this place, a visual rhythm that felt almost impossible to distil, and yet absolutely worth trying. Two other colour schemes available.
